Exposure & Composition Adjustment

Snow has covered all of London! It’s pretty and creates some amazing scenes to be photographed. Unfortunately me and Andon are still practising taking pictures in tricky light conditions. Such as grey and snowy weather!

Today we tried taking photos in our garden. The results were far from ideal but I played around with Photoshop cropping and exposure adjustments which improved some of the photos to a great extend.

Here is the result:

Cat in the snow

What I did is to crop the image so that the cat looks closer to the camera and also to get rid of unnecessary subject in the photograph. I then adjusted the exposure increasing it to +1.12 to get more light in the photograph.

Any suggestions what I could have done to further improve this image are most welcomed!
